If you know Bacchus, you know the Handmade Series represents the absolute pinnacle of their craft. Unlike the mass-produced Global or Universe lines, these instruments are built entirely by hand using traditional tools and routers at the legendary Momose Aska factory in Nagano, Japan.

Design & Playability:

The DX4 features Bacchus’s proprietary body and neck dimensions, utilizing a slightly thicker "dinky" style body with deeply ergonomic contours for maximum comfort.

Even though the pickups are placed in the classic 60s position, this bass delivers the bite, clarity, and sharpness typically associated with a 70s Jazz Bass. Thanks to the maple and ash combination along with custom-voiced Alnico V magnets and proprietary wiring, you get the perfect hybrid tone: traditional 60s warmth paired with 70s top-end glassiness.

 Turbo Switch: For added versatility, pulling up on the tone knob engages a Series Circuit. This bypasses the standard parallel wiring, instantly turning both single-coils into a massive, high-output humbucker for an aggressive midrange punch and extra low-end heft.

Setup & Condition:

The craftsmanship on this bass is immaculate. The fretwork is flawless, the nut is perfectly cut, and it has been professionally dialed in for maximum playing comfort and versatility.

Action: Set exceptionally low at 1.75mm – 1.85mm at the 12th fret with absolutely zero fret buzz. It is gig-ready and optimized for professional use straight out of the box.

Condition: Excellent both cosmetically and functionally. The frets are perfectly leveled and show zero wear or pitting, they have also been freshly polished.
